Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan’s Netherlands defender Denzel Dumfries.

    However, it is note that Dumfries has a €25m release clause in his contract. Which is valid until mid-July.

    A famous journalist posted on X with the caption: “Denzel Dumfries has a €25m release clause with Inter, valid until mid-July.”

    “It is understand that Barcelona have shown interest in recent months. But no fomal offer or approach has been made at this time.”

    In last season’s Champions League semi-final, Dumfries was a troublemaker for Barca. Scoring two goals and providing three assists in two games for Inter Milan and playing a key role in Barca’s European title challenge. 

    Barcelona are keen to bring in a full-back this summer before turning their attention to deals for Joan Garcia and Nico Williams.

    Williams is now a key target, with Barca prepare to pay his release clause and it is unclear. Whether the Catalan giants will look to sign another player this summer.

    Hansi Flick is keen to add full-back and a back-up striker to Robert Lewandowski. But the club will need to offload some players this summer, which could complicate any move.
